16 Dec Hospital employees help raise funds for 3-D mammography machine
The Harney Hospital Foundation hosted the third annual Holiday Basket Campaign from Nov. 16 to Dec. 16, 2021, raising $3,480 toward the purchase of a 3-D Tomo Mammography machine for Harney District Hospital.
A total of nine holiday baskets were donated by the Harney Hospital Foundation Board, the Harney County Health District Board, and various teams of hospital employees.
This year, the Foundation continued the tradition of counting the number of tickets sold for each basket. The winning basket this year (by a slim margin) was the Foundation Board’s Butcher and Cooler Basket. In addition to earning the coveted Goat Trophy, the Foundation Board was treated to a pizza lunch.
The Foundation would like to thank everyone who donated items toward this year’s holiday baskets. Your contributions were essential to the overall success of the fundraiser.
