Ron Wulff demonstrated the need for an infant training manikin during the Men’s Guild on March 31.

On Thursday, Oct. 6, Harney Hospital Foundation Manager Elisha Miller presented a check to Respiratory Therapist Ron Wulff to cover the purchase of an infant training manikin for Harney District Hospital. The manikin will be used in multiple departments throughout the hospital to help staff stay up to date on their pediatric training.

Back in March, the Foundation hosted the fifth annual Men’s Guild to raise funds for healthcare improvements in Harney County. In addition to enjoying dinner and drinks, attendees watched presentations about three pieces of equipment that were needed at the hospital.

Each presenter did an excellent job of advocating for their needed equipment, but Wulff was able to secure the most votes with his moving presentation and excellent use of visual aids.

Thank you to the following members of the Men’s Guild for their contributions, which helped make purchasing the infant training manikin possible: Bill Cramer, Warren Gillespie, Dave Ferre, Mike Masterson, Chance Miller, Kenny Post, Brian Robey, Dag Robinson, Pete Runnels, Toby White, Ron Wulff, Dan Grigg, Richard Thein, Claudio Iturriaga, and John Bauer.

Please keep an eye out for information about next year’s event, as there is always room in the Men’s Guild for more members!
